One to teach, and one to learn.
This is why I need two selves.
to teach me to remember,
and to learn not to dwell.

One to speak, and one to listen,
this is why I need two selves.
To support when time to listen,
and to speak when time to be heard.

One to love, and one to hate,
this is why I need two selves.
To love when love is seen,
and hate when wrong is done.

One to see, and one to watch.
This is why I need two selves.
To watch the world around me,
and to see what it becomes.

One to gorge and one to starve,
this is why I need two selves.
To gorge on the happiness of self,
and starve myself of saddness.

One to judge, and one to fear,
this is why I need two selves.
to fear the lonliness of people,
and to judge based in fact.

One to hold, and one to have.
this is why I need two selves.
To hold on to tomorrow,
and to have it all today.

One to wish, and one to work,
this is why I need two selves.
To work towards my eternity,
and to wish it all the best.

I can not take it all,
and hope it all be well.
You can not take it all,
and try to explain it.

One need not,
Be wrong or right.
For we all must live
by our own guidelines.
