It's like TPTB aren't even trying to be mystical anymore. Pretty soon people are going to start getting horoscopes saying "on Thursday you'll be splashed by a passing car" or "on Friday you'll avoid the subway thinking the scary-looking kids might mug you, but they're actually much nicer people than you and maybe you should stop being such a judgemental arsehole."
In other news, I am ridiculously charmed by Being Human, mostly because vampires-not-registering-on-technology is my favourite bit of folklore. I've only ever seen it in Ultraviolet before, and the idea that the show's creators are geeky enough to have lifted ideas from Ultraviolet makes me glad.*
To sum up: I have spent most of the time since my last post training to be a librarian, relearning GCSE statistics with worryingly limited success and eating my body weight in ham.
