Hey, look...I found Semagic
again
It is taking a bit to get myself refamiliarized with the various lj bells and whistles (tags? omg, I mean, what could I use besides "stuff," "maybe funny stuff," "boring stuff," and the favorite "more stuff"?
Now for minor personal updates:
1. Current fandoms--Stargate: Atlantis, Due South, House...basically anything that makes me click a link for more.
2. Still a slasher (John/Rodney, Fraser/Kowalski, possible House/Wilson, except for the fact that most of the current H/W fic seems to suck beyond the telling. house_mst seems to be the best way to enjoy fanfic for that show. That or read while developing a longterm substance abuse problem).
3. Have purchased new laptop (250G for all my fandom education needs.
4. Am returning to school (ok, one course this summer; am hoping to go closer to full time this Fall)
5. Oh, and, while I have returned to Mississippi, the monkey has remained in Bham. 'Tis a epic tale of illness, hospitalization and woewoewoe, but in the end, not worth the reminding.
Am slowly refriending people; however, understand that I will be checking the individual ljs as time permits, and not using a friends page. I have found bookmarking my favorite comms and etc for lurking to be the best way to manage my lj exoerience.
Yes, I have never really left, only moved myself to the shadows of fandom comms, where I have commented less than ten times (in total) over the last two years.
More observations as time permits for the dog's gotta pee.
