Psych 3x07 Review
Semi-late...but not as bad as the last one. It's been a busy week.
Favorite Parts:
- Mannequin!Shawn = love. And makes me want to watch Mannequin vs. Mannequin.
- Lassiter totally has a mustache guy! LOL!
- Juliet calling on Lassiter to get Shawn to back off. It's what a friend would do...it's what a partner would do...it's what Lassiter would do just to order Shawn around.
- Roller!Gus to the (almost)Rescue!
- Knowledge is power!
- I liked the not-quite-handholding to go along with the close-talking of last season. I'm not as big a fan of Shawn/Juliet as I used to be...but I still think they'd make a cute couple.
Random Supernatural Guest Star Also Showing Up on Psych:
- There were a few faces I thought I recognized...but I couldn't pinpoint anyone in particular who's been on SPN. Anyone else see any?
What Really Got Me to Love This Episode:
Not gonna lie...it was the Shassie.
This is the first season in which I'm watching with the slash on the brain...and this episode was heavy on it (which was doubly funny with the more obvious Shules tone). The banter between Shawn and Lassiter just had me giggling throughout the episode.
And was it just me, or did Shawn smack Lassiter's ass when they were crammed together in the security room? (K, so it was probably just me and wishful thinking...)
But yeah...other than the Shassie subtext...this wasn't exactly my favorite episode. It was funny enough...just not quite...there. Wherever "there" is...
