this was so, so good...I love stories where the characters have known each other for forever, know each other better then anyone, love each other unconditionally, and are constantly looking out for one another...

This was a really great twist on their backstory, and I loved how you worked it into canon....SO GOOD! LOVE!

I'm really, really into pre-movie, established relationship Arthur/Eames and I think I love it more the longer they've known each other.

this was sweet and sad, and i love that you made cobb a douche bag. within the realm of fic i can accept that people say he cares about arthur and everything, but within my own head canon from watching the movie, cobb is selfish and working for his own interests, and really doesn't care about any of them at all. (which is not often portrayed in fic). it's nice to see this view played out in fic every once and a while lol.

I think I made Cobb more of a douche in this fic than I actually, really see him in canon. But I have always thought he's pretty selfish/ruthless. And I've always felt like there was some sort of bad blood between Eames and Cobb. Not really enemy level bad blood...but enough that they don't really like to be around each other.

And that line was one of my favorites to write. :)
