Oh my this was beyond lovely.
I have a soft spot for some kind of relationship between Mal and Eames because they seem so intriguing in their character dynamic. You wrote this really beautifully.

Actually, Yusuf had threatened to shoot him next time he sees Eames. Eames is at least eighty percent sure he was just being dramatic.
