Baaabooomba!
Tonight was such a great night. My calves have never hurt so much. I actually had to struggle so that i didn't limp. I hate limping. It alway looks so fake. So, if anyone ever sees me limping, know that it's for real. I went to the Fair with Susan, Eve, Ginger, Jess and Haley. We went on all the rides. What a crazy amount of money. it was worth it though.
Eve, Jess and I went to a Collective Soul concert tonight. Skywinde opened up for them. I saw them once as a headliner at First Ave. They are a bit hard core for me but then Ryan this cool soph with dreds from the U came next to us. He was crazy and he 'pseudo moshed' with us for a while. It was fun. Collective Soul was really great. They played all the songs I knew!! It was so hot in there. We kept getting pushed and stuff so we squeezed infront of these really boring girls and one of them drove a marker into Jess back. A MARKER...What? they were so not into the whole experience. we were jumping and yelling and sweat was just dripping down our faces. I think we could have just about died in there is was so fu*king hot.
It was about 11:30 when we got out and we were still hot and sweaty. We had an idea, a good one. We drove to Lake Calhoun and went skinny dipping. Eve didn't want us to take off our underwear because at first she was creeped out when I told her I was shaved. Then when Jess said that she trims pretty close, Eve was self-conscious about her hairyness. So, in the end, Jess and I went bare and Eve went with a thong. The water was so refreshing and it was quiet there. It was so peaceful. There was a full moon and we could see the stars. We were three nakies running down the beach and running through the water which seemed to be really shallow for a long time... We put our clothes on while we were wet, realized that there were people that could see us running down the beach while in their car and we went for coffee at Pandora's Cup. Now I'm home and ready for bed.
Jess wanted to order a Chai Tea but she said Tai Chi. She didn't realize it and it kept Eve and I laughing for a while.
