Saving Francesca! ♥ I used to go back and forth over what my favourite Melina Marchetta book was, but I think I've finally settled on Francesca. I love her so much.

Saving Francesca was fantastic, but The Piper's Son was a whole different level. I loved it, but it's a hard book to reread.

I'm in the middle of Blood Red Road now, actually (also only because of good reviews) and it's got dialect, which isn't really my thing. I'll give it a shot anyway, though. (If I made it through Huck Finn I can make it through anything.)

Yeeeeeah, the good reviews of Blood Red Road mentioned the dialect, so they didn't entirely convince me! (But I have it, so will likely read it eventually.)
