Three things:

1. You can find September's post for the giving and receiving of recommendations here.

2. Next weekend will be our discussion of How I Created My Perfect Prom Date, so I hope you'll all be around for that. It's a pretty delightful book if I do say so myself, and I do since I finished it this week.

3. It's banned books week! Go read ( Read more... )

This has not been a productive reading week. I finished Howards End and How I Created My Perfect Prom Date, but that's really it. I'll just go ahead and blame premiere week.

I did start a book that I'm pretty into so far, The Flanders Panel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, which is a Spanish translation? Obviously I'm reading it for reasons, but it's essentially an investigation of a historical mystery so far, which is something I love, but people might like it.

Yeah, I did not have a productive week either. I have BANNED MYSELF from LJ until I get this fic turned in, but I knew this post was going up and I had to sneak on briefly.

I just read the Amazon summary of The Flanders Panel, and it sounds reallllly interesting. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

I wish you luck with your fic finishing!!! I feel like I haven't seen you around in forever, but that's mostly because I haven't had the energy for tumblr or twitter catching up.

Based on the fifty pages I've read so far, I'd recommend it! I'll let you know how I feel about it when I'm done, haha.

THANK YOU! I have long since hit the word count, now I just need to wrap up the story. I know :(! I honestly haven't been around much this week at all anyway between work and big bang and apartment hunting. Which yes, I am still doing :P

Excellent! I hope you continue to enjoy! :D

Haha, I DID. And I totally don't have those books sitting on my shelf or anything.

But the mystery one looked interesting, I need to check with my library.
