I just finished Temptation of the Night Jasmine, by Lauren Willig. Yay, more Miles/Henrietta! I have a pretty big crush on Miles I can't lie.

I was a bit at a loss what to read next, but I finally picked up, The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ by Phillip Pullman. I'm excited to read it, I bought it like a year ago.

AND I KNOW I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE, but I am DETERMINED to finish Mansfield Park. I will conquer it.

Omg, I want Miles to be my boyfriend so bad! That doesn't seem like too much to ask for in life?

I finished the Pullman! It was really interesting. God, now I need to reread HDM.

Buying books for the cover is fun, though! The cover and the title were how I got started on the Pink Carnation series. And it being in the front of Barnes & Noble when it first came out. That helped.

I've been really slacking on reading lately, but I'm really enjoying The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin! I'm also reading and enjoying Moira J Moore's latest Hero book and Tam Lin by Pamela Dean. (You'd really think that if I'm enjoying them so much, I'd actually, you know, READ them, but . . . oh well, back to watching ER.)

I got Secret Society Girl from the library today! I picked up the second book in the series too (since it was right there!), so hopefully I'll like it.

This week, I finished rereading The Help and started rereading The Seduction of the Crimson Rose. I also read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass (I missed it when I was younger, I don't remember why) and If I Stay by Gayle Forman, and now I'm halfway through The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood. Pretty good week for me!

Oh hey, you finally read Alice! I hope you enjoyed it. I still really love it so much. It's just this glorious feeling of escapism. (Or at least that's how I feel about it hehe.)

I really did! I'm so glad I read it. Everything I've read this week has been awesome, actually. :D

In the past week or two I finished reading The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and I finished rereading Size 12 Is Not Fat by Meg Cabot and Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. I am almost 200 pages into Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens. I am pretty excited about this progress. Trying to get in a few more books before classes start. Then it will mostly be assigned reading for me (here's hoping for some good stuff)!

Assigned reading isn't always so bad! I could never do just that, though, when I was in school. I always needed something non-school related to read before bed. Just to get it out of my head.
