[ First it's the sound of Isa's voice that gets her.

Then it's the sight of his injuries.

But it's the gaze in his eyes that really seems to hurt Usagi the most as she fumbles with her own SFC to try and talk to him. ]

Isa, what happened?! Your face...!

...I... I was provoked by someone. They... Carved this into my face.

[ Someone intentionally hurt him? The pit in her stomach seems to drop lower and lower.. ]

There are plenty of people here that could probably fix it for you!

I don't... I don't think it can be fixed, Usagi. It's... It really hurts. And it's deep. Real deep...

[He's just glad it's not bleeding anymore.]

[ And after she cuts off her feed, true to her word she's found herself at Isa's door and is walking through it quickly, peeking her little head around. ]

[It's from one of the bedrooms.]

[ Following the sound of the voice, she pads her way through and enters through the door she was pretty sure she had heard Isa from. ]

[Isa is sitting in a corner of the lower bunk, hugging his knees to his chest. He forces a smile for Usagi, then winces. Yeah, that X on his face hurts more than he lets on.]

[ Immediately she's by the side of his bunk, ducking low so she doesn't hit the top one. ]

Isa...

[ The video feed showed her pretty much all she needed to see, but, seeing it in person made her more determined to help heal the pain as much she could. ]

Hey.. [ The first step is a smile that she gives to her injured friend. ]

[Isa seems to relax, thankful for the smile. It's nice to see her.]

[ She can see feel him relaxing. Good. Hesitantly, she reaches upward to place a comforting hand on his shoulder, that smile still on her face. ]

[Isa just slowly crawls out and lays his head in her lap. This is comforting, like this. Like how he used to lay his head in his mother's lap when he'd had a bad day.]
