[He had grinned when he had seen the SFC on, Isa's face there. He'd been in the kitchen, unpacking all the groceries he had picked up before when the sun had been shining. Still doing kitchen duty, after all.

The grin had not lasted once Isa had opened his mouth.

For a moment, Lea just stares, standing in the middle of the kitchen with the SFC in his hand. His heart is twisting inside of his chest and he doesn't understand why... Until he thinks about it.

Thinks about how he'd always been at his happiest when he was with Isa, how it had dismayed him to see Isa be in pain like when he saw the one violent feed or when he learned about their future. How his heart had sped up when they had simply held each other, enjoying silence.

And it only hits him when it's too late.

He gives a small bitter chuckle when he feels something sting at his eyes, tears slipping down his face before he quickly scrubs at his face with one hand. Once he's sure his face is clear of any incriminating stains, he flicks on the SFC and grins.]

Here I thought I knew everything about you, Isa.

[Unfortunately, Lea missed the drop in the corner of his screen or the way his eyes are a bit red.]

[And it's those small details Isa picks up on. Quickly, his enthusiasm fades because something is wrong with Lea. Frowning, giving a concerned look, Isa finally asks.]

[Crap, is he that easy to see through? That's when he notices the drop in the corner and he bites down on the inside of his cheek so he doesn't curse. Quickly, Lea wipes the drop away.]
