Character Name: Isa
Series: Kingdom Hearts
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Species: Human
Appearance: For the most part, Isa's an average looking teenaged boy. He's fairly tall, and has an average build for an active boy. He's rather baby faced, has a pale complexion and mint green eyes. His hair, however, is decidedly not average, it's bright blue. He wears it to just above shoulder length, and quite a bit of it sticks up in the back. Clothing-wise he wears an outfit that consists of a blue short sleeved jacket over a black t-shirt, white jeans and black boots. His ears are pierced and he commonly wears silver studs in them.

Personality: First and foremost, Isa is a stoic and serious boy. He seems cool and collected, however, that’s really only how he presents himself to the world, because he wants to seem more grown up than he really is. Emotionally, though, he’s wound just a little too tight underneath his stoic demeanor, and is a bit of a wreck.

You see, the boy has the desire to be in control of nearly all aspects of his life, this includes his emotions, however, he’s not emotionally mature enough to really understand what being in control of your emotions means. So instead controlling his emotions, he’s repressing his. Because of this, Isa’s reluctant to express any sort of strong emotion for fear of seeming weak and childish.

He tends to relax and allow his stoic demeanor crack a bit for Lea, but even then the displays of emotion are small and reserved.

There are also moments where Isa’s stoic demeanor will completely fall away. He has a fairly bad temper, though it has a slow burn, and not many things can set it off. When it is set off though, his anger is kind of scary

Isa is far, far too stuck in his ways. He fully expects things to stay the same way they always are. As a result he's not very good at accepting change, and will stubbornly refuse to acknowledge it.

As stated earlier, Isa wants to be in control of nearly all aspects of his life. Curiously, however, he doesn't really do all that much to enforce that control. Not with an iron fist, at least. He'll take a leadership role in almost everything he does. But, he has a tendency to indulge someone in his patience for too long, and when he finally puts his foot down it's too little too late.

Isa also has a rather cruel, almost taunting streak, and will often casually belittle and insult his friends. There is, however, no real malicious intent behind his words and indeed, if someone were to insult his friends maliciously, Isa wouldn’t stand for it and be quick to defend them. On a similar note, he's also rather disparaging to the various "stray puppies," as he tends to refer to them, that Lea always seems to pick up. He has no stake in them, and they always tend to distract Lea.

The boy is also somewhat possessive of his best friend, and if he felt his place in Lea’s heart was threatened somehow he would become quite jealous of the person who was threatening it. However, he’s not really aware of this flaw, it’s never really come up, because nothing in their relationship has felt threatened it yet. It all ties back into the fact that he’s far too stuck in his ways.

Underneath his stoic and sometimes cruel exterior lies a gentle and loving heart. He truly loves his friends, especially Lea, he's just not very well equipped to express that love, but the good heart is there, it's what keeps him from being a truly malicious person.

History: Isa’s pretty much a normal boy, who had a normal, uneventful life in the beautiful, peaceful world of Radiant Garden. There’s no reason not to believe it was anything but uneventful. He had a loving family, and a comfortable home life. Eventually he would meet a boy named Lea who he became fast friends with. They were an inseparable pair, which meant that Isa would also often get caught up in Lea’s crazy schemes, unfortunately that also means Lea has a tendency to get him into trouble. A lot.

One such scheme was the plan to break into the castle at the center of the city. Now, the day they tried to carry out this mission they ran across a boy named Ventus, whom Lea tried to make friends with, much to Isa’s annoyance.

They did try to break into the castle, and that went… about as well as expected, really. The boys were caught, and literally thrown out by one of the guards. Oh well, Lea would come up with another scheme soon enough, and like always, Isa would get caught up in it.

Eventually, though, Radiant Garden would fall to the Darkness and Lea and Isa would lose their hearts with it and become Nobodies. Isa, now Saix, and Lea, now Axel, would become the seventh and eighth members of Organization XIII. But that moment in Isa’s life has yet to happen.

Cambot post sample:[There’s the shot of a very unamused teenaged boy] Lea, if you’re here, if you’re somehow behind this, then explain. Now. I’m not in the mood for this.

[Isa crosses his arms and glares at the screen for a minute or two, but soon, all pretense of him being annoyed at Lea is gone, he says to himself: ] But… It couldn’t possibly be his fault…

[But he’s still annoyed, make no mistake about this.]

Is there anyone that can explain what’s going on here?

Third-person log sample: Isa’s eyes fluttered open as he regained consciousness, and found himself staring up at the ceiling of a very unfamiliar room. He put his hand up to his head, trying in vain from keeping his head from the sudden throbbing. He didn’t even remember losing consciousness to begin with.

As he pushed himself off the floor, his first thought was to wonder what Lea had done now to get him into this mess; after all, his best friend had a knack for getting him into trouble, and doing it often. Though as Isa took in the surroundings it became more and more obvious that Lea probably wasn’t the one behind this, unless he had suddenly figured out how to teleport people. The very thought of that was laughable.

And indeed, the more he took he took in the surroundings the more he got the feeling that this situation was utterly impossible. The building was like nothing like he had seen in Radiant Garden, instead, as insane as the thought was, it was like something out of a science fiction story he might have read once. In light of this, Isa was inclined to believe that this was some weird dream. It was the only conclusion that made sense, at least.

Riff sample:

"I see you have a fascination for pirates, espeally fair-haired captains."Laughter still obvious in his voice.

Isa: A typo. We’re off to a great start, it seems.

“I do not!" She stood up quickly and faced him, her face turning pink. "It was given to me before I got on the ship by my brother."

Isa: He also gave her his drinking problem. How inconsiderate.

She grabbed up the book and threw it at him. He raised his arm and knocked it away from him. He grabbed her arm and pulled her close. Wrapping his other arm around her waist. “You have a problem, if you think I could like a pirate!"

Isa: I think we have a bigger problem than him just being a pirate. How many arms does he have?

"Perhaps I could make you change your mind, my dear. I am sure I could change your mind about a lot of things. His eyes danced with devilment as he latched his gaze onto her lips. She struggled against him, but couldn't get loose.

Isa: That’s because more than just his gaze is latched onto her…

"You devil! You are too ugly for me." Her voice going high, as she had trouble breathing.

Isa: Wait, if she can't breath... then how is she...? You know what? Nevermind.

"Am I now?" His voice soft. "That's not what the women tell me."

"Then they need glasses!"

Isa: Or a lobotomy.
