It's been a trying weekend, to have such a simple party, a fun night out, turn into pure madness. I've been reading what posts I can, and many of those have been everyone trying to beat themselves up for what they couldn't do.
I know it seems so much scarier out there now, but, from what I've understood, you have all stood up to far worse. Those like that clown-like madman are just RELISHING on the fear and confusion that has now suddenly appeared and if we allow that to continue, then we have allowed them to win.
For now? We mourn, then we move on. We'll remember what Ms. Watson did for us in this world and make sure it never fades. We will find those responsible and hold them accountable for their actions. And we will never allow the others who want us to live in fear to get that chance.

Will, I saw some of your posts, particularly with Charlie and what he had known. I know that this has hit you hard because you, Irma and Hay Lin were at the party and you all could have done something to stop this.
But, despite the wealth of information Xanatos and Charlie might have concerning our future and that of the others, there is something we all must remember: while we can control our destiny, we have no right to control others. We can aid, we can point them in the right direction, but we cannot hold their hands and tell them where to go and what to do. If we do that, we lose their trust.
To put this in more simpler terms, everyone: had you known what you did and you got Lorne to move the party elsewhere, do you really think that things would have turned out differently? For all you know, another set of circumstances could have lead to that conclusion.
Thank you, Hawkmon. I know it's trying, but I know you all are stronger than you're showing. If you wish, I can ask Jason to allow you girls to join in protecting the Inns. It's your home, too. You should have part of it.
