new job and such
Today I found out that bone china contains actual ground up cow bones. And here I always thought the name was metaphorical. But no, 25% powdery bovine skeleton.
I was relieved, however, to know that the bones are left overs from meat slaughterhouses, they aren't killing extra cows to make teacups. Odd to think of fancy tea sets as being non-vegan though...
The new job is overwhelming because I started with 0 knowledge of china and crystal...I still have to ask what some things are for. Other than that it's cool, and I've been learning a fair amount. Business has been abysmally slow these past few days though, so it's hard to get any practice in.
I have tomorrow off! Yay.
