I was telling someone that what needs to be invented is electric blanket gloves....and lo and behold people are amazing.
I'm old hey :) I was supposed to go out with Peter last night and there was a storm warning so I stayed at home :/ And honestli by 10pm and a few episodes of Blackadder I was asleep in front of the TV.... I never knew House was in Blackadder!
The other thing I've decided is to stay single. For a long while. Until my head makes some amount of sense. Also, it would mean I could finalli tri to find a way to get transferred to Kazakhstan...I'll get there eventualli. Do you ever have that feeling where u just know u have to go somewhere? I've had that feeling for a few years now so I'm thinking sometime next year would be a good time. It would be great experience, I've never worked on a facility, it's an oil asset (i've worked mostli in gas) andd they do carbon sequestration stuff which I'd love to get a better understanding of. Then its the whole cultural thing, I've always wanted to go to Mongolia and Kazakhstan is the next best thing.
It looks like we're going to the US for a month in September. There's one more training course that I really want to do but it looks like it might not happen this year..we'll see.
