(no subject)
for some unknown reason, i've been on a sewing kick. im on my 4th water sachet change purse. its good, i feel like im getting something ive been meaning to done. the ladies will get their ghetto african christmas presents in about a year from now.
i managed to sew a collar on sophia. i didnt stab her or myself and it looks really adorable. her new fav sleeping spot is my laptop bag. i forgot that kitten hair gets everywhere. she's a pain in my ass and my favorite person here. i use person loosely. she'd have a rugrat type voice. like an adult playing a child voice. what a cutie.
school's out for midterms. i didnt get to give my kids a project like i'd intended because tuesday was a muslim holiday, surprise, so i showed up at school and no one else was there. it's a damn good thing i live on campus or i'd be more pissy about it. i'm left out of the loop for everything. just go with the flow.
i did an email interview for some girl in the UF journalism program about pc. kinda fun.
ist was fun but the whole time i just wanted to get back home. it was nice to see certain people, but i dont miss them yet. we haven't been apart long enough. i'm thinking by all vol ill actually miss them. plus it reminded me of training and that's a terrible thing.
thanksgiving should be more fun. only 1 person i have to avoid. ehhhhhhhhh.
ryan found bullet fragments in his pork. he also said the weevils in his grains are now pets. i thank baby jesus i'm not where he is. i'd go crazy if i could only leave my town on sundays.
im still waking up at 5am, but now it's sort of fun, people are still awake so i have friends to fb chat with. yay! started movie watching again. jimmy hit the nail on the head with the shitty horror films he sent me. wishmaster had some utterly awesome shitty horror movie bits with lots of blood and guts. leprechaun though had someone get pogo sticked to death. doesn't get much better than that.
im trying to eat less to keep myself from ballooning up anymore. its hard when im so effing hungry!! i could probably eat like 4 fluffernutter sandwiches right now. my fluff does say best by november 2010...that only leaves a few weeks left to devour the other half of the jar. nom nom nom!
ive been bitten by some bugs that aren't mosquitoes but equally annoying. the bites are bigger, pink with a deep red dot in the middle. they itch so bad it woke me up. i thought my ankles were on fire. i'm almost through my first tube of hydrocortisone.
as i was leaving my house yesterday, a lizard dropped from the ceiling at my feet. it sounded like a piece of poop, it sounded so ploppy. I was utterly terrified as it got up and scurried away and it took me a good second to recover. I had a lizard as long as my forearm wriggle past me today. lizards dont even bother me and i shivered. eh. at least i haven't seen any snakes. also i think my neighbors seconded offering to take sophia when i leave to eat her. at least i know she wont go to waste! i was told a story about a volunteer whos dog got run over. he took it to the butcher and had dog stew with the cd. i dont even think this is that gross anymore. it's on par with eating basically any other type of meat. i like being vegetarian. except for thanksgiving....turkey!!!!!!
