(no subject)
today is feeling like a french fry day.
i cant take a nap b/c my sheets are on the line. UGH. nate woke me up at 9:30. i was planning to sleep for as long as possible. ive been reading and writing sort of non stop for a while now. 2 days will mark a month i've been here, doing nothing. and now that school's been pushed back, i have two more weeks of nothing. i can tell i've been here a while because all of my wounds are healing.
ive been playing with my radio a lot and discovered there isnt a lot of music. its all talking. there is 1 english station out of accra, but boring. even on shortwave i dont pick up a lot of music stations.
im officially bored. i have no reason to travel into town, except to walk around and meet people, but that's awkward. my counterpart is still gone, so i have no help in that department. maybe ill practice my twi. yes, i found something to do today!
