The Mental State
Ok, so I think it's possible that I lost more than 2 additional pounds, because I weighed myself in the evening instead of in the morning like I normally do, but I was at the Diabetes Center to see the nutritionist, so that's how it worked out. Speaking of the nutritionist, I really liked her. She told me some things I didn't know or hadn't really thought about, so that's a good thing. And I think I might be able to talk to her about some of my food issues. This was a group class, but she's available for individual sessions, too. Also, today was my first 12,000+ step day; I actually did a total of 13,249! That's a LOT of steps. I don't know how I got so many non-treadmill steps in, but once I saw how close I was, skipping the treadmill was not an option! And, I was able to maintain my 3 mph pace. Exercising might be getting a little less hard... Today, I am very proud of myself.
