Crazy.
I did a wild, crazy, impulsive thing yesterday.
I declared a double major in Fashion Design.
Never mind that this adds an extra 50+ credits to my graduation requirements. Never mind that I still have half the classes in my theatre degree left to take. Or the gen eds I haven't taken. Never mind that it requires a study-abroad (in London). Never mind that my financial aid will eventually run out, and I'm almost all loans to begin with.
I'm double majoring in fashion, and, hopefully, I'll love it more than theatre. Hopefully, I'll like it.
It'll teach me more about clothing and design than my theatre degree ever did. It'll also teach me business and marketing skills which, hopefully, will aid me a lot more in the future than either of those acting classes. Maybe, with this degree... I can work for myself.
I don't get why people keep congratulating me on my "new major". This is the most insane thing I've ever done.
