The Ark is the big orange ship buried in the side of a volcano that was obviously based on Mt St Helens in the G1 cartoon (originally aired in the 1980s - '84-'86).

Technopath? Have you been reading Macx's series? Because I know that's one of the main places that has techopathy appearing. From what I know (which isn't a great deal, since I only really know G1 cartoon and the movies) techopathy is only fanon.

Dr Biggles? Check the wiki for that, I don't recognize the name at all.

The thing to remember with Transformers is that it has several canons - G1 cartoon, the japanese G1 continuation animes, the Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon, Cybertron/Galaxy Force) animes, Beast Wars and Beast Machines, the Beast Wars animes, the various comics (Marvel, Marvel UK, GI Joe crossovers, Dreamwave, IDW, Botcon exclusive comics including Timelines and Shattered Glass), movieverse and the movieverse tie-in comics, TFA.

All of them are part of Transformers, and going on some of the stuff I have found, are all official canon, existing in various alternate dimensions across the TF multiverse.

Ah, thank you. The multiple canons were really throwing me, especially since the characters are relatively similar yet seemed to have no connections to each other.

Macx's series? Maybe. Haha, I'm not sure. Technopath kept showing up in fanfictions so it got me curious, but apparently its mainly fanon.

Yeah, for the most part the versious continuities are unconnected, except for a few cases. The Tineline comics I think are multiversal, Shattered Glass is about G1 Cliffjumper being dumped in a mirrorverse with evil Autobots and heroic Deceptions, and Vector Prime (originally featured in Cybertron/Galaxy Force) is one of the Original Thirteen Cybertronians created by Primus, is the Time Guardian and can appear in any universe when needed.

Probably technopathy was made famous by Marcx, but it doesn't surprise me that it's in other fics. Plenty of movieverse Allspark!Sam fics have it to some degree, even if they don't use that particular term.

And probably my list up there of various continuities is still incomplete - I just noticed that I forgot RID and the G1 continuation manga, and apparently the Japanese are starting their own continuation of TFA, which the only good thing that will come out of it is that maybe we'll eventually get the toys that have been left in production limbo due to the end of the series in America. (I want Roddy, Arcee and Wingblade Optimus.)

Time to sound like a tard again. Who, or.. er, what is Marcx?

Thank you for this information by the way. It's a little overwhelming trying to catch up on a fandom that's been going on for so long.

macx_larabee - fanfic writer. Writes the ongoing saga titled "Imperfect Deviation", which notably has Sam as a technopath. It also has Will Lennox turned techno-organic after absorbing the Allspark shard and crossed over with movieverse Ironman as well.

I haven't been reading for a while so I'm a bit behind on the series.
