Why, yes. This chapter is awful. But I'm sick of fighting with it and wish to move on to the rest of the story. However, if any of you have any ideas on how to improve it, please let me know. If I can revise it to my satisfaction, I will repost it later. Also, much thanks to
lawrencered for giving me some feedback on this chapter

And sure, I can explain the joke. In the old, OLD Twilight Zone series, there was an episode called "To Serve Man." In the episode, a race of aliens landed on Earth, and at first humans were highly suspicious of them. However, the aliens worked to prove their good intentions by helping to cure disease, end world hunger and all of that. Finally, the humans are convinced of the aliens' good intentions and accept them. They even start volunteering to go and visit the aliens' homeworld. At the end of the episode, as two characters are getting ready to board a ship, one character is looking through the aliens' book, which is called "To Serve Man." Everyone had taken it to mean that it was "serve" in the way a servant serves a master. But this woman turns to her companion and says something along the lines of: "I've figured it out. The first few pages are just words that they translated, but the rest...the rest of it...it's a cookbook!"
Hence Sam's comment to Optimus.
I'm glad you are happy that I brought in Wheeljack. I figure that if I run out of steam on a chapter, I can have Wheeljack blow something up. ^_^
