The short answer: Too comfortable for his liking.
The long answer: Sharing a bed - and actual bed, no less - with a random guy he barely knows! How fun. If by fun, you mean one of the most confusing moments in Kageyama's Camp history so far. You can safely say that when Shinji offered to continue the bedninjaing, Kageyama's mind blanked out. Almost completely, leaving aside the usual question of Why. Fortunately for Shinji, that made him very easy to top into staying. Kageyama is not used to having someone around, but when it happened, that person was usually his brother, someone he has had to deal without for a while now. Everyone is fairly vulnerable when they sleep, especially when they have a terrible case of abandonment issues and yes, during the time when Kageyama actually slept and had no chance to feel extremely conflicted, it was probably the most well-rested nightmareless nights he's had. It was warm and comfortable (a bed!!), he wasn't all by himself, as he was constantly reminded of thanks to the snoring and probably the most peaceful he has felt in ages.
That part, unfortunately, pretty much freaked him out when he woke up again, so he bailed out on Shinji. :( Sorry, bedmate. It's not you, it's me.
