I don't respect people who wollow bask in their own tribulations. I'm noticing myself losing sympathy for others at a rapid pace...
...now, let me point out, there is nothing wrong with taking time to accept / adjust / heal / learn after any sort of emotional event. The key words here are HEAL and LEARN.
Life is a matter of experience. You make mistakes, you accept the mistakes you've made, you adjust/heal accordingly, and most importantly, you learn from your mistakes.
What's the point of living an "Oh, woe is me" lifestyle? I can only make the assumption that it's easier than having to face the real world. It's easy when you have something to fall back on, right?
The point I'm trying to make is this:
Consuming your life with past experiences, dwelling on past experiences, is the best way to lose control of your life. YOUR LIFE. I have absolutely NO sympathy for people who are too fucking lazy to learn from their mistakes or too lazy make any sort of worth-while effort to change the situation.
I think it's pathetic to let your life story be written by others when you are more than capable of taking control of your life and writting your own story.
We've all dealt with our fair share.
