Five year plan
Carl and his friend are buying a duplex, and they got together to draw up a contract and discuss their five-year plans. I am pretty happy that I am included in Carl's five-year plan. I told him that mine was living and working wherever he was (probably Burlington, since that is where they are buying). He asked me to move in with him at some point! I am very happy about this. I fully intend to keep my own place for as long as I can afford it, but my funding runs out in August, so cohabitation may be in my very near future.
It's nice that we have not rushed things. The dating relationship is so great. It's like all of the fun without the mess. We would both save a lot of money if we moved in together (probably $300 to $500 a month). Still, I'm glad to have treated it so carefully, like the Little Prince's rose. In a way, it is the only rose on the planet.
