Augh. Ray has somehow gotten a very bad case of fleas. He is teeming with them. I'm confused because we've not had much of a problem with them before and I treated him with Frontline not three weeks ago. Ugh fleas are horrible. Even though my dogs are on preventative medication for them, we occasionally get a flea or two in the apartment from being outside (or maybe from other people in the complex). I rarely notice them on the actual dogs...I usually only know because I end up with bites ALL OVER and they itch like madddddddddd!

Hopefully they go away soon!

I DESPISE fleas too. Frontline and whatnot is only supposed to go on them once a month, but ugh!

I used to have a cat that I got as a stray. He came with fleas, so my apartment became flea infested. Don't EVER forget though that adult fleas only make up 5% of the flea population. Keep up with vaccuuming for about a week or so every other day, and the problem should be eliminated faster. The larvae can't die until they've become adults, and that's why vaccuuming every other day helps. Good luck! :)
