:(
I said goodbye to a few of my friends today. I'm leaving on Thursday, I don't know when I'll see a lot of them again!
I started off the day going to the mall with my parents. They bought me a bathrobe and another pair of jeans, which I desperately needed! Also, I was starving, so I bought this two pack of Fiber One bars, and I ate one then, and had another one later...but more on that later.
Then! I went to my pal Rachel's house and hung out with her and Brian. And we went to the mall! Haha, I thought I would be bored because I had just gone there, but they made it so much fun. Rachel is a crazy shopper! In Forever 21 she picked up 19 different things, tried them all on, and ended up getting a couple of plain tees. She's one of my favorite people, but she's very self-conscious. She's a dancer, and she has a beautiful body, but she's very concerned with her weight and appearance and blah blah blah GET OVER IT YOU'RE GORGEOUS.
On another note, I bought an AWESOME red jacket, an umbrella (necessary), the third season of Dexter, and the second season of Flight of the Conchords. YAY.
We went to Barnes and Noble and we were still in a mall mood, meaning we were sort of loud and rowdy. And my friends do not try to inhibit my impulse buys. Barnes and Noble is like fucking crack to me. I can't walk in there and not drop $50+. I got a leather bound edition of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, a David Sedaris book, a Robert Olen Butler Book, and a freaking wooden artist's reference dummy. Which is awesome, but you know what? Thank you friends, for letting me go so crazy.
Then we scooted back to Rachel's and Yara showed up. I was so happy to see her. She's one of the most sincerely kind people I've ever met! I'm going to miss her! :(
But I was having major cramps. Like, I was dying. Those Fiber One bars kicked. My. ASS. They really aren't lying. Those things pack a punch. My body is definitely not used to so much fiber. I still fell bloated and gassy, ughhhh.
Then we had to say goodbye and it was so sad. I'm ready for a change, but I'm going to miss all the amazing people in my hometown. We're all leaving, and we'll meet again at holidays, but it will never be like this.
