Summary: Jaejoong just wants somewhere to call home again. Living by himself is really not as great as his sisters made it out to be and he yearns to be around people again. He is nineteen after all and fully capable of living his own life away from his ridiculously large family. Enter a tiny little girl who captures Jaejoong’s heart in an instant and he finds himself with a family…of sorts. And for a sheltered, very well-loved boy, complicated doesn’t even begin to describe his life from the moment the tearful baby crawls into his lap looking for comfort.

AN: The Jung meets the Kims… I hope you like it :3 And watch out for the start of the chapter......... :PPP I BLAME DESTINY.

Jaejoong moans softly as he lowers himself, taking in Yunho slow inch by slow inch.

It is very early on Sunday morning and Jaejoong had woken up with Yunho’s morning erection nestled against his bare ass as usual. He is getting used to waking like this, even though it is only for the second time ever. He can definitely get used to waking up to this for the rest of his life. Ever since Friday night, they’ve been unable to keep their hands off each other, all the pent up desire of almost three weeks spilling out like a tidal wave, with no end in sight. Each surge brings forth new sensations, new feelings, and even more love. Jiyool watches the shenanigans with a quiet eye, unperturbed by the sudden increase in affection between the two men around her although she was thoroughly displeased about waking up in her cot on Saturday morning if her screaming was anything to go by, and it takes them a good ten minutes to calm her down. The baby girl refused to even look at Jaejoong, feeling betrayed by the boy somehow for putting her in the cot the previous night. The teenager takes her little snit in stride, cheerfully telling her father that it’ll be his turn to put her to sleep that night so the betrayal is even.

The tiny Jung child is a smart little girl, flatly refusing to sleep for hours on Saturday, fighting to stay awake and being cranky because of it. So much so, Yunho believed her sick again but Jaejoong knew better. They finally go to bed with Jiyool back in her pillow fortress on what was formerly Jaejoong’s side of the bed, both men eyeing her sleeping body for a good twenty minutes in absolute silence, before stealing out to christen the hot tub properly. Poor little Jiyool, lulled into a false sense of security, was dead to the world as her father moved her carefully out of her little fortress and back into her cot, heedless of Jaejoong’s warning that there will be hell to pay in the morning for that.

However it is now morning, even though the sun is not quite fully up yet, and the teenager’s warning is as far from Jaejoong’s own mind as is humanly possible, as he rides the baby’s father, his lithe body bouncing in the thin rays of sunlight filtering into the master bedroom. Their collective moans and groans accompanying the sound of skin slapping against skin; the perfect counterpoint.

Jaejoong’s body is fit, yet still soft and malleable, and more than willing to take everything that Yunho has to give him, as he bends over the older man, face buried in his throat as Yunho takes over, gripping his hips hard and thrusting upwards into his welcoming body. Yunho’s name on his tongue is a broken litany as he almost cries his release, the friction of his cock between their bodies coupled with his prostate being hit dead on at almost every other stroke is his undoing. As he spends himself between their bodies, Yunho continues his upward thrusts several more times before lifting Jaejoong off his cock and coming in hard hot spurts against his ass. The teenager opens his mouth against Yunho’s throat, sucking lightly as the man groans out his orgasm. His body is damp with sweat, content to lick and taste the salty tang on Yunho’s skin as the man wraps his arms around him, pressing a kiss to his damp brow.

They lie there in silence, the only sound being their harsh breathing as it slowly evens out. Wiping away cum is not really a priority for either of them for some reason, both enjoying the stickiness on their skin, as well as the closeness, because they are loathe to leave each other. Jaejoong is the first to speak, even as he continues licking, sucking and biting whatever part of Yunho’s skin his mouth happens upon. The man will be going to the Kim family lunch with several hickeys on his neck that afternoon.

“Why do you keep doing that?”

“Mmm…doing what?”

Yunho’s eyes are shut, a smile playing about his lips as his hands stroke sleepily up and down Jaejoong’s back. The teenager is tiring him out, waking him up in a rather interesting manner that morning, Yunho opening his eyes to Jaejoong making shy kitten licks against the head of his swollen cock. He is unsure how they went from that to the boy riding him, but he is definitely not complaining. Jaejoong is an eager learner, almost like a little puppy wanting to please, and Yunho has no defence against that exuberance, nor the love and trust that shines in the boy’s eyes when he looks at him.

“Not coming in me.”

Yunho shifts, pushing him off to lie to the side, Jaejoong still lying half on him, heedless about the boy’s sticky ass on the bedsheets as the teenager makes a sound of protest at being moved. He swirls his index finger in the drying cum on his belly and chest, bringing it up to his mouth, and sucking thoughtfully as he ponders how to answer Jaejoong’s question. He does it several times, pretty much cleaning himself up without realising it, unaware of the large doe eyes taking in his every move, nor the shiver that courses through the younger male every time he wraps his lips around his finger.

“Stop trying to distract me.”

“Huh?”

“Why are you eating my cum?”

“Because you taste good.”

“Oh.”

Jaejoong turns a healthy shade of crimson as Yunho chuckles while he tries to hide his face in a hard shoulder as Yunho turns towards him, slipping a hard thigh between his legs. He shifts closer, wincing at the ache in his ass as he lifts his leg higher up across Yunho’s thigh, his trapped leg nudging at the cause of his pain and pleasure. He skims his hand lightly over the man’s side, fingers running up and down over his ribs, before hugging him close, purring contentedly as Yunho tilts his head down, nuzzling softly against his nose. Jaejoong’s eyelids flutter close as they breathe into each other, his initial question forgotten yet again, though the older man hasn’t.

Yunho watches as the beautiful boy drifts off, marveling at how quickly he can fall asleep. He rubs his nose gently against Jaejoong’s, staring intently at his closed eyelids for a few more seconds, before he himself closes his own eyes.

They are both woken about two hours later by the shrill cries of an extremely irate baby girl. Jaejoong doesn’t even crack open his eyes when he turns away from Yunho, moving off to lie on his own pillow on his side of the bed, pulling the covers up to his ears, and snuggling contentedly in the warmth. His voice is hoarse with sleep as he croaks out.

“I told you there’d be hell to pay. You can deal with her.”

Yunho sighs, watching the back of Jaejoong’s head. He had actually intended on bringing the baby girl back to their bed before she woke, but in all the cuddling and nuzzling, he had fallen asleep before doing so. Jaejoong’s question is also still playing on his mind, and he makes a mental note to talk to the boy later. He slips out of bed, pulling on a pair of basketball shorts and turning off the baby monitor so Jaejoong gets some respite, before heading out to the nursery. He cards his hand through his messy hair, wincing as he pushes open the door of his baby’s room, her screaming is almost ear piercing in her rage.

When she sees him, her crying only intensifies. First Jaejoong, and now her own father? This is too much. She is standing up in her cot, tiny fingers gripping the wooden slats hard, great big fat tears rolling down her ruddy cheeks as she cries her disappointment at finding herself without her parents for the second morning in a row. She usually wakes up with Jaejoong fast asleep facing her, and enjoys her morning game of playing patty cake with his face till he wakes up with a sleepy smile. Then she gets cuddles before he hauls her out of bed under his arm, making her giggle as they go to the kitchen for breakfast. Sometimes she wakes up and Jaejoong isn’t facing her, but rather on his back, her father half draped around him, and she amuses herself by climbing over Jaejoong to kiss her father good morning.

But today? And yesterday? She wakes up alone, in a bed she doesn’t like anymore, surrounded by soft toys and pillows but no daddy and no Jaejoong. The world is cruel to the little baby girl and she cries out her frustration, shaking her head violently at her father when he tries to pick her up. She doesn’t want him. She fell asleep with Jaejoong being the last face she saw, and she wants the teenager now.

Yunho tries again, putting his hands around his daughter, but she shakes her head at him again, her crying subsiding slightly, but she is still upset.

“No!”

Yunho stops and stares, mouth agog.

“Jiyool-ah…did you just talk?”

All he gets is tearful scowl from his pretty baby girl, whose nose is running now from all her crying. He tries yet again to pick her up, and for the third time, he gets a violent head shake from her. She lifts a hand away from one of the slats she’d been gripping and she points it at her father.

“No!”

There is no mistaking it. She is talking. Yunho wants to run out and grab Jaejoong but he figures it is probably easier to grab Jiyool instead. He stares down at the his daughter currently frowning at him through her tears. He pries her other hand gently from the grip she has around the slat and then quickly scoops her up into his arms. She starts howling in rage, trying to fling herself out of his arms, and Yunho spends the short walk back to his bedroom wondering where the tiny baby girl, weighing just over seventeen pounds, gets all her strength from.

As he enters the master bedroom, Jiyool quietens almost immediately, recognising where she is. Her eyes are trained on the lump in the bed as Yunho walks around to his side. Jaejoong’s brief moment away from him clearly doesn’t last because the boy is back on his pillow, nose buried in it. The boy’s eyes are still shut but he can see his lips twitching into a smile and he knows he is awake. He deposits a now silent Jiyool on the edge of the bed and watches her clamber anxiously towards the teenager, and hugging his head. Jaejoong opens his eyes with a giggle at the embrace, pushing the covers down, scaring Yunho for a short second, thinking the teenager is still naked, but he sees the waistband of something or other instead, and realises he must have hopped out of bed briefly to clean up.

“Jiyool-ah. You love me again!”

Jaejoong picks up the little girl as he turns, dropping her squarely on his belly as he wipes away at her tears. She immediately falls forward when he is done, spreading her arms wide as she straightens out on top of him, making contented sounds as she snuggles under his chin.

He rubs her back soothingly, eyes turn in question to Yunho who shrugs, and climbs into bed next to them, turning on his side as he is on the very edge and there’s not enough room to lie on his back since Jaejoong has encroached on his side of the bed yet again. He smiles when the boy lifts his head in silent invitation for Yunho to slip his arm under his neck and so he does, curling around his family, his other arm wrapped loosely around Jaejoong’s waist.

Jiyool turns her head towards her father at the slight jostling that occurs when Yunho and Jaejoong get comfortable, and she sits up, blinking at both men. Then she points her finger at her father yet again, shaking her head at him much to the teenager’s amusement, before solemnly declaring, “No!”.

“Did she just speak?”

Jaejoong voice is a whisper, as he tilts his head back to look at Yunho’s amused grin, and then back at the little girl sitting pretty on his belly and pouting.

“Yes. That’s the third time she’s said no to me, and twice she’s done it while pointing and shaking her head. I think our baby girl is very unhappy with me.”

“I told you-“

Yunho cuts him off, ducking his head to press a kiss to that full mouth, licking at his lips and drawing back before Jaejoong can respond.

“I know what you told me. I had fully intended to bring her back to bed with us this morning before she woke but someone distracted me.”

“That’s actually a really good idea…i’m sorry I distracted you.”

“Apology accepted. Now, please explain why her first word is no.”

Jaejoong laughs, the strange broken sound is like light around the room, making it even brighter and the baby girl on his belly, extremely used to the sound, can’t help but giggle in response as she once again lays back down on top of him, two fingers in her mouth, sucking contentedly as she is soothed by his steady heartbeat in her ear.

“I think that’s your fault actually.”

“Really?”

“You’re the one who always says no to her. Remember Friday morning and my phone? That finger pointing was probably her mimicking you.”

“You’re spoiling her. I guess I’m going to have to be the bad guy around here.”

“Look on the bright side, she’s talking.”

“I don’t know if one word can be considered talking.”

“Baby steps, Yunnie-ah.”

“Yunnie?”

“Oh, sorry… I don’t know why I call you that.”

“It’s ok, I like it. That’s what you called me when you were three.”

“Really?”

“Yes, Joongie.”

Jaejoong wrinkles his nose at the nickname and now it is his turn to shake his head up at the older man, pouting at him. The movement causes Jiyool to lift her head up to peer curiously at the boy, but he makes comforting sounds, rubbing her back and she goes back to her original position.

“No Joongie. That’s what my family calls me and it makes me feel like I’m five. Or three. Can you just call me, Jae, like you have so far? Please? Oh wait, speaking of family, you’re coming to lunch right? Right? Well, you can’t say no because I already told umma you’re coming and if you don’t, you’ll disappoint her and everyone knows better than to disappoint umma. Even appa. Poor man, I remember when she’s angry with him. Even at seventy he has to sleep on the couch. I wonder if I’ll make you sleep on the couch at seventy. Oh god, I just realised I still don’t know how old you are. How old are you? Do you want more kids or are you happy with just one? I hope you don’t want nine because I don’t think I can manage having eight. I’m already behind as it is. Umma had my oldest noona when she was seventeen. I’m nineteen! But then I guess we already have Jiyool so she can be like noona. My second noona is thirteen months younger than the first and Jiyool is thirteen months already. I guess I can’t be like umma because we’re already running behind.”

Yunho leans down, unable to resist Jaejoong’s pout, and the need to stop his rambling because he wants to laugh but he doesn’t think that’s the appropriate response in this case. He tastes him briefly before once again drawing back before the boy can respond, earning himself an even bigger pout and a discontented huff.

“I was just teasing you, Jae. And I’ll be glad to come to lunch but only if you protect me from all the females in your family. I really hope you won’t have any reason to make me sleep on the couch, ever, even though I’m sure that’s a futile hope if even your parents have their moments of discontent. As for my age, I’m thirty-two and I’m glad you brought up kids because that’s why I don’t come in you.”

Jaejoong’s eyes just keep widening, and he almost chokes on his surprise at Yunho’s final statement. The age gap between his parents is also thirteen years, but that’s not the only surprise.

“You don’t want children with me?”

“I want us married first.”

“But we are married. Umma says a piece of paper doesn’t make a marriage any more real.”

“But to the eyes of society, that piece of paper is necessary.”

“Since when do you care about what society thinks?”

“I care about what society thinks of you.”

Well, Jaejoong doesn’t have an answer to that. He honestly doesn’t give a damn what society thinks, believing that everything will be as it should no matter what anyone says or thinks. But if Yunho wants it, then Yunho will get it because Jaejoong is not about to deny the man something so easy to give.

“Well, maybe you can talk to appa today then.”

“I was planning on it actually.”

“Really?”

“Well, maybe not today since I didn’t realise I was invited to the Kim family lunch. I was going to call in at his office on Monday.”

“Can we just have a family ceremony?”

“You don’t want a big wedding? I remember attending a couple of your sisters’ and they were…big.”

“I’m really not the sort. Umma and appa had a small family ceremony and they’re going fine. The noonas with the big weddings, well, one is divorced and the other separated so big doesn’t mean better.” Jaejoong suddenly smirks as he adds, “Unless it’s in the bedroom.”

Yunho stares down at the amused boy, his daughter has dozed off on Jaejoong’s chest and he shakes his head at him. All the Jungs shaking their heads this morning. Yes, he considers Jaejoong his and married and therefore he is a Jung.

“It’s not as if you have anything to compare to.”

“I don’t need to…you’re more than enough.”

“Mmmmm I love you.”

“You know, I had plans for this weekend, plans that included the dry erase board on the fridge door no longer being empty of notes. But if you just keep vocalising your notes, I don’t care if it’s empty forever.”

Yunho eases himself down, taking his arm out from under Jaejoong’s neck and laying his head on the pillow so they are face to face, nuzzling his nose again and closing his eyes. He smiles when he feels the teenager peck at his mouth.

“I love you, too. But please don’t fall asleep because we need to get going. I told umma I’d help with the cooking and we need to get there early.”

“Five minutes.”

~~~
Mr. and Mrs. Kim are standing out on the back porch, staring into their kitchen at the couple by the stove. Jaejoong is stirring something in a pot, and Yunho is wrapped around him, hugging him from behind with his hands in the front pockets of the teenager’s jeans. His chin is resting on their son’s shoulder and they are speaking, but the Kim parents cannot hear a word. However, no words are needed, their body language speaking volumes as they watch Jaejoong taste the soup, and then feed it to Yunho. The two men are oblivious to their audience, which is growing from two to four and then six as Jaejoong’s two oldest sisters and their husbands join their parents.
“Is that really Jung Yunho?”
“The one and only.”
“I’m finding it hard to believe.”
“You’re telling me. I’ve given myself bruises from all the pinching I’ve been doing over the last half hour.”
“I knew Joongie moved in with him, and he’s really attached to that baby girl, but I didn’t realise it was this serious.”
“They’re married.”
“What!”
“Well, they will be. Yunho asked us for permission this morning and we said yes.”
“If you talk to Joongie, he’ll tell you they’re already married.”
“How long has it been? Three weeks?”
“Try sixteen years.”
“What!”
“It’s a long story…”
“Give me the condensed version. Oh my god, sixteen years? Joongie was only three what the hell? Did you two organise an arranged marriage or something with the Jungs? Why did he marry that Choi bitch then?”
“Joongie proposed to Yunho when he wasn’t even three, Yunho said yes, they exchanged rings, and they were married.”
“You mean that ring he was always wearing was Jung’s?”
“Yes.”
“Wow…”
“Right?”
“And baby Joongie strikes again. I swear there’s an angel watching that kid.”
“That kid is your baby brother. Be more respectful.”
“You know I love him, umma. But you have to admit, he’s led a charmed life.”
“Yunho needs some of that charm. I’ve never ever seen him smile except that day when he came over with his parents to our house and met Joongie. I’m enjoying the change, although I’m surprised it’s taken this long.”
“What do you mean?”
“Joongie called me about three weeks ago asking what he should wear in a hot tub.”
“Ok, enough gossiping about your brother. Go make yourselves useful. Everyone else should be here soon.”
Mrs. Kim shoos off her daughters and sons-in-law, even though she herself remains with her husband to watch the couple in the kitchen who are still wrapped around each other. This time it is Yunho who is pressed against the granite island in the middle of the kitchen, his back to them, with Jaejoong wrapped around him. They are exchanging soft kisses, and the parents watch unashamedly till their son comes up for air, and catches them watching over Yunho’s shoulder. He bends his head to hide his face, with only his eyes being seen over the older man’s broad shoulder as he lifts a hand up to wave at them sheepishly. Mrs. Kim waves back with a smirk before turning and pulling her husband along with her.
“Do you think we made the right decision?”
“What does that infamous gut of yours tell you?”
“We did.”
~~~

“Your family is…overwhelming.”

“Well, you’ve got the parents on your side, the rest will come with time.”

“Everyone seems ok except that one sister of yours. Yuri’s mother. I was at her wedding. Is she the divorced one?”

“Yeah, that’s her. Don’t worry about it. She’s a little paranoid.”

“If you say so. She keeps trying to grab Yuri when she comes anywhere close to me. What does she think I’m going to do to her little girl?”

Jaejoong frowns at Yunho’s words, making a mental note to talk to his sister. He loves her dearly but she really cannot keep doing this. They are currently sitting in his tree house, lying on a thick rug, eating fruit with Jiyool dozing next to them, tired out from playing with her cousins. Jaejoong opted to take her up here so that she still gets the outdoor air and late afternoon sunlight filtering through the tree leaves, with a little less noise. Her aversion to loud female voices is apparent once again, but Yunho doesn’t seem to notice the coincidence, simply assuming that she is uncomfortable with strangers. Jaejoong knows he has to talk to the man about this soon, but he needs to find the right time. He also uses it as an excuse to escape his family. They have been a little overwhelming, and not just for Yunho. Apart from his parents and his oldest sister, none of the others had a clue about his relationship with Yunho, and so they both spent most of the lunch and subsequent “laze about digesting food” time being grilled by fourteen people. Fifteen if you include his bratty niece Chaerin. Nothing is sacred in the family, and he remembers almost dying from mortification when his second sister commented on his limp. He was not limping and they all knew it! She was just teasing him, and his responding blush and spluttering was enough to tell the whole table exactly where he and Yunho are at in their relationship.

“Like I said, she’s paranoid. Yuri is all she has left. Don’t think on it. And stop eating all the grapes!”

“But the grapes are my favourite!”

“Mine, too. Get your giant paws off my grapes you great big bear!”

“Bear?”

“I don’t know, it just came to mind.”

“You are a very strange teenager.”

“You love it.”

“You’re right, I do.”

They sit in silence, Jaejoong having rescued his grapes, munching contentedly on them, basking in the warmth and love in his little treehouse. He remembers it being quite large, but with two grown men and a baby in it, the space is a little tight now, but he doesn’t mind as he snuggles closer against Yunho, popping a grape into the other man’s mouth.

“You said you’d show me your treehouse, but you never did. You didn’t come back down to dinner that night after you peed on me and your mother whisked you away.”

“You’re in it now. I’m sorry it took so long.”

“It’s a pretty big tree house for a three year old.”

“Do you think Jiyool would like a treehouse?”

“We’d have to find a house first to have a backyard for a treehouse.”

“That sounds lovely.”

“We’ll start looking tomorrow.”

“Don’t you already have one lying around somewhere?”

“No.”

Jaejoong feels the chill in the word, and he shivers, placated when Yunho tightens his hold on him and rubs his arm. He has actually sprouted goosebumps from that one word, and he is both in awe and slightly disturbed by how much coldness the man can convey in an instant. He knows it is not directed at him, but he is surprised about the lack of a house. Most of the wealthy families have a family home, and since Yunho’s parents are dead, he assumed the Jung mansion is lying around unused somewhere. But after Yunho’s rather final no, he decides not to ask about it just yet.

The silence is broken by a sound of girlish voices, and he recognises the voices of Jessica and Krystal, his oldest noona’s two other daughters. It sounds as if Jessica is telling Krystal a horror story as they settle under the tree, their voices carrying up to them.

“He has worms for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great big fat juicy worms, the kind you dig up in the vegetable garden.”

“But he didn’t eat worms today.”

“He was just pretending to eat his bulgogi. He was secretly eating worms when you weren’t looking.”

“Jessica, stop scaring her!”

Jaejoong chuckles when he hears Chaerin’s annoyed voice scolding her younger sister. He was enjoying the story.

“But unnie, it’s true!”

“Mum! Jessica is telling Krystal that Yunho oppa eats worms!”

Jaejoong claps his hand over his mouth in horror as he stares wide-eyed at Yunho who is clearly amused. Well, he is glad one of them is amused because he wants to go and scold his niece himself. The brat!

“Maybe he was hungry and didn’t like bulgogi,” comes the distant response from their mother, and Yunho lets out a sharp bark of laughter that wakes his daughter with a jolt, and she starts crying in the unfamiliar surroundings. Jaejoong sits up, scooping the baby girl in his arms and she quietens immediately, snuggling against him, two fingers in her mouth as she stares sleepily at her father who is gazing apologetically at her.

“I like your oldest noona. She’s the lawyer right?”

“Well, she’s the one who told me I married you. Apparently I was quite excited about it. Why can’t I remember any of this? It’s a little frustrating being the only one in the dark about our marriage. And yes, she’s the lawyer. Hyung is too, that’s how they met. At law school.”

“What sort of law do they practice?”

“She mainly does pro bono work. Family law mostly. He’s an entertainment lawyer.”

Before Yunho can reply, another female voice filters up to them.

“Joongie? Baby are you up there?”

“Yes, umma. What is it?”

“Come down, we’re having a pre-dinner meal and then you can go.”

“Are you trying to get rid of me?”

“I’m trying to get rid of all of you. I have plans.”

“Yuck, umma. I did not need to know that.”

“Don’t be silly! It’s not those kind of plans. I’m too old for god’s sake with sixteen grandchildren. I’ll leave the baby-making to you and Yunho. Some of your father’s colleagues are coming over for dinner and I need you lot out of here.”

“Alright, we’re coming.”

“That’s what he said.”

“UMMA!”

Her only response is a wicked cackle as she walks away from his treehouse. Poor Jaejoong is mortified, but Yunho is suddenly feeling a deep sense of belonging. He’s never had this easy relationship with his own family, and for Jaejoong’s large family to accept him and his daughter so easily despite the scandals surrounding him is humbling. He was a little apprehensive about talking to the Kims about marrying their only son, especially since the Kim mogul’s media is the one that has been one of the reasons for the rumours surrounding him. However, he is put instantly at ease, when the Kim patriarch starts off their conversation by sincerely apologising for the negative press, stating that he is willing to print an apology, which Yunho instantly waves off. He doesn’t care what people think. He only cares what the people he cares about thinks and as long as Jaejoong is fine, he is content. He explains this to Mr. Kim, telling him to only do what is necessary to protect Jaejoong, and not to worry about him. He is unaware that this is one of the reasons the Kims gave their permission so readily. They trust their son, but they needed reassurance that their baby will be looked after, and with a simple sentence, Yunho has given them that assurance. Yunho knows the Kims only have fifteen grandchildren, and for Mrs Kim to count Jiyool as one of hers is making him feel a warmth he thought was only possible with Jaejoong. He can see how Jaejoong turns out the way he does. He is a perfect amalgam of the Kim parents.

The Jungs leave the tree house carefully, Jiyool secure on Yunho’s back in her sling as they climb down the tree and head towards the house. The back lawn is littered with various toys and sporting equipment, and the pool full of an assortment of floatation devices, but there is no one in sight. As they approach the house though, they can hear voices and laughter, and Yunho is once again struck by the warmth that the house exudes. The Jung mansion, sold long ago by him after the death of his parents, was never this warm or welcoming. He shakes his head to rid himself of the memories, determined to make new ones for himself and his daughter with the boy that providence has sent to save him.

They enter the large sun room, filled with chatting adults and giggling children, the younger ones splashing about in the paddle pool while the older ones munch on sandwiches and fool around with a giant jigsaw puzzle on the floor.

“Is that the same pool?”

“I should hope not!”

“Kids? Go get food from the kitchen and then come back in here and enjoy the autumn sun. It’s still nice and warm. Jiyool can get in the paddle pool with the other six if you like. I’m sure we can rustle up a change of clothes for her.”

Jaejoong eyes the pool of little girls and the sole boy. He knows exactly how little Taemin feels, as the boy sulks in the corner as his girl cousins try and make him play with their dolls. He’s not going to add yet another girl to the poor three year old’s little world of females, and so he shakes his head at his mother, before heading to the kitchen to fill a plate.

The adults are all watching rather interestedly at the newcomers as they settle into the remaining two seater couch. Jaejoong is carrying a heaped plate of food, while Yunho is settling Jiyool between them. Yunho puts a pretty pink bib around his daughter, settling her back, before he starts handfeeding her some sweet potato from the plate balanced on Jaejoong’s knee. Jaejoong on the other hand, is chatting with his older nieces and nephews, as he takes a bite out of his food, and then feeds Yunho the other half. This goes on for awhile. Yunho feeding Jiyool, and Jaejoong feeding him half bitten kimbap, sweet potato, even leftover bulgogi and chicken nibbles from lunch. They are both unaware that they are the topic of various pockets of conversation happening around the room.

“How long did you say since they made their relationship official?”

“Well, the hot tub thing was three weeks ago, but I cornered Joongie earlier and they only just consummated the relationship on Friday night.”

“Were you hand-feeding Taeyang after three weeks of dating?”

“No way. I don’t even hand feed him now. He can feed himself.”

“What is our baby brother doing?”

“I don’t know, but it looks like umma and appa when they were younger. I remember umma feeding appa. Joongie and Yunho look like they’ve been married forever. Look at Yunho. He doesn’t even act as if this is out of the ordinary. The food comes close to his mouth, and he just opens up. You know what Joongie is like. He will feed from anyone, but I’ve never seen him feed anyone.”

On the opposite side of the sunroom, the Kim parents are having a similar conversation to their daughters.

“My baby is growing up.”

“Are you getting teary? It was bound to happen.”

“I know, but he’s my youngest and my only boy and now he’s going and I knew it was coming, I knew it for awhile but seeing them now, like that, makes it all the more real.”

“Are you having second thoughts?”

“Not at all. Yunho would do anything for him. Anything. I’m sure of it and for that, my heart is at ease.”

“He is like the teenager I remembered who came over to our house all those years ago. I will never forget his expression when his mother shrieked at Joongie for peeing on him. His instinct was to protect. You could see it on his face as he left the room holding our son.”

“Not the man you remember marrying that Choi girl?”

“No, not that man. But I have a feeling he’s lurking under there somewhere.”

“Are you worried?”

“A little, but what can I do? Joongie is gone for him. We can only love and protect them the best we can, but we cannot fight all their battles.”

“Do you think there’s a battle coming?”

“I’m sure of it. I’ve heard rumours about the Chois looking into seeking custody of Jiyool. I didn’t want to worry you but I think we should be ready for that fall out which is why I think they should get married soon.”

“Joongie would never let Jiyool be taken from Yunho.”

“I don’t think it will stand up in court either, but they will try, and it is the attempt of it that we will need to support them in.”

“Always.”

AN: Ok, I do NOT intend to put mpreg in here. I MAY have side-shots or drabbles or something but I don’t intend for there to be mpreg in THIS fic. Ok? :D And yes, I know the pull out method doesn’t usually work but he’s a boy and it’s harder for boys to get pregnant so yes :PPP *waves my artistic license*
