Couldn't Resist
Welp! I've continued my search for the perfect white fabric for the Queen Anne corset. Even though the Tommy Bahama Ocean fabric is on its way, I wanted to have a choice in fabrics and be able to drape a bit to decide which looked best with the corset style. BUT, I overdid it a bit. Even though I was looking for ONE special fabric, I ended up with, oh, say TEN fabrics. I found three absolutely beautiful whites: two jacquards and one linen. Depending on the look for final, I also purchased a beautiful eggshell braided loop trim for the navy ocean TB print, as well as a gorgeous black and white woven trim if I go with the white. Also purchased several really bright and fun fabrics, which are out of my norm, for the summer. I plan to offer a few "ready made" cinchers on the site for those who either cannot wait for a bespoke corset, or those with a more moderate budget. I was thinking of going for more of a J.Crew look for the beach, but the bright fun colors spoke to me more. Maybe it's just my mood. :)
