Bliss
Finished the Bliss corset on time and as promised. 300 hand applied tiny swarovski crystals. Ended up working til 3 am on these. I realize that you can purchase fabric with crystals already applied, but they aren't swarovski and I wanted to be creative with my placement. The result? . . . the bride to be got teary eyed when she first saw the corset and then actually cried when she tried it on. Must say the fit couldn't have been better and her waist was reduced by 3.5 inches with first try. Her busts lifted perfectly and with the design, her "short waistedness" completely dissapeared! I was so concerned with fitting a bride (my first in corsetry). I had heard all of the horror stories. In this case, thankfully, she sent an email which I may post as a testimonial on the website that she is absolutely in love with the corset, it fits perfectly, she loves the fabric, color and crystals and could not think of one area which I could improve on. What a compliment and so satisfying for what I do. Can't wait to get pictures. She is reticent to model (understandable), but I think the biggest roadblock is that she doesn't want the husband to be to get a glimpse of the corset before the wedding day/night. I really would like to showcase it on the site for a week or more, but may have to wait until May to post. I absolutely HATE waiting! So we will see. Fingers crossed!
