(no subject)
So...my across-the-lawn neighbor has had her curtains shut constantly for the past few days. Which is nice because then I don't feel awkward when I accidentally am walking around naked with the curtains open (read: most of the time.).
Then I realized: she probably keeps the curtains closed BECAUSE I often accidentally am walking around naked with the curtains open. Which is curious, because does my ass really freak her out that much? Can't she just, y'know, not look? I mean, I don't do it on purpose, but naked is kind of my default and I don't come from a curtain-closing family (I think we only have one window with curtains in the whole house), so it's not something that's usually on my mind.
On a similar note, I was swimming today and then I went to shower in the locker room and a few minutes later another girl, who had also been swimming, came in and she seemed so embarrassed that I was naked and that she was partly naked, too. In a shower in an athletic locker room. Is that normal? Do I have a really inaccurate sense of what's okay?
I feel like she was pretty young though, like early high school aged. She's probably still in that awkward, self-conscious stage, even though she was quite pretty and certainly well-dressed and she looked confident enough once she got her clothes on, but maybe she just has powerful, athletic posture. She's definitely a more serious swimmer than I am.
I didn't see her do any flip-turns either, though, which makes me feel less bad about not being able to do them.
