Ethnic heritage:
Father: So completely irish (and I look more or less exactly like him)
Mother: Nearly half mexican, maybe an eighth or so native american, the rest undifferentiated euro-miscellany (british/spanish/french/I forget)

maybe I will post it in my blogger blog. downside is having to come up with answers that I would not mind family members seeing... :-^

I would just feel funny having only one post sitting there. I nearly did "post everything you eat in your lj month," but then ultimately didn't for the same reason. also I kind of forgot. I think it's possible to post concurrently to both blogs, I could start doing that I guess to make it less funny-feeling.

In any case, here are some answers for you:

1)I don't know how to answer this. I friended you when I started my account and said "huh. whose ljs do I want to appear in my friends feed?" this is a weird question.

2)Bizarrely enough, I strongly associate you with "Groove is in the Heart." For what it's worth, it is not so much the song itself that I associate you with as the really great party and exceptionally appropriate playlist that you prepared and danced to at said party

my dad. i never learned ethics in school except for some in political philosophy, ethics of social participation etc. my dad used to be a professor of ethics before i was born and he was considered a particular scholar of biomedical ethics, even though it wasn't a field he liked more than any other, that i know of. where did i post that syllabus? i only very vaguely remember doing that.

those are all very interesting answers and i am glad to know them! especially the voice one. not many people have a voice that sounds like mine, but once in a million blue moons i meet one of my voice doppelgangers, and i get hella freaked out. at age 12 i went to camp with one once, her name was sarah. she was a total bitch and was really really rude to me, bullied me even, and i remember thinking it was like listening to myself berate and mock me.
