Kairi walked in, 'God I love Karaoke!' She happily perked her self up.
She ran and jumped on the stage grabbing the microphone in hand. "Hmmm..." She looked at the list of songs. She saw her favorite, Faye Wong's "Eyes on Me". She always sung that song perfect, as she was told by her friends. But she wanted to test it out. Music began to play and the words of the songs flew from her mouth like cherry blossoms in the wind. ((Comparison, like it's really pretty voice))
Hmm? His attention was caught once again when he heard something he hadn't heard in a real long time... talent. Glancing sidelong at the stage, he blinked. Hey, that chick... She was not only a good singer, but hot too, albeit a bit young looking... Did that ever stop him? Err... Nope. Creeping closer to the stage and nabbing another seat, he waited for her to finish, applauding sincerely as she finished. Now, to work his charms... Striding over to her, he 'accidentally' bumped into the girl, hoping to get her attention in the process.
Smiling slyly, Reno took it upon himself to take a seat next to the girl, calling the bartender over.
"One of -those-" he winked at the man, "for the wonderfully talented young lady, here... And a rum and rye for me 'course." he turned to Kairi, grinning. "Good job, kid. Say, anyone suggest you go professional?"
"Oh, well you should definitely take it into consideration, babe. 'cause you're hot. Like, y'know, popstar hot. Heh," he held his grin, leaning closer. "Sorry, slip of the tongue. You do look kinda young, y'know... Not that it's bad." a purr escaped his lips, and he returned to a normal sitting position, waving his hand at the bartender again, shaking his head disappointedly, gestering the order to be cancelled. "Most people here appreciate free drinks... Just thought I'd celebrate your great performance with you."
"Oh I appreciate it. But I'm just 17, uh 18 in a month." She nodded and folded her hands in her lap.
"But I might, but I've always been into drawing." She waved to the bartender for a pen and napkin to doodle on. She took the pen and drew herself on the napkin and signed it '<3 Kairi'.
"Here, for being my audience." She smiled sweetly.
"Hehe, well, that never stopped me when I was your age." Reno leaned back a bit, shrugging. "Ooh, an artist, eh? I see you are one of those rare multitalented hawties... I'm surprised you're here on singles night." Reno took the napkin and smiled in thanks, gently folding it and placing it in his pocket. "That's very sweet of you, uh, ... Kairi. Nice name. Name's Reno, by the way. I'm security at the local Uni... So, get on my good side and you'll have it a lot easier, heheh."
"Oh no worries. My uncle is a bouncer at the local club. I have no problems with security." She winked.
"Yes, sadly, I'm single. But, I do love karaoke, so I couldn't resist. And thank you. Nice to meet you Reno." She held out her hand ready to shake his.
Reno turned slightly red at that comment. "Uh, bouncer? ... I ... see. Ahahah, well, then..." he laughed nervously. "I guess I should be the one stepping on eggshells, then." "By choice, I assume..." Reno winked, taking her hand and standing up, pulling her up in the process. "C'mon, there's gotta be something more fun than listening to these sorry asses kill my ear drums... What do you like to do at night besides karaoke?"
Well, this would be easier than he thought. Excellent. He smiled as nicely as he could, rushing out the door and onto the streets, breathing in deeply and stretching, glad to be able to hear properly again. "Well, how about... I surprise you? Just close your eyes and I'll lead you to a very special place. Lots of chicks dig it. But only the worthy ones actually have a chance at going there. That's why you have to keep your eyes closed. Can't let you give away it's location, now."
"Well, if you'd feel... safer... I could just carry you there. You're probably light as a feather anyway." Reno suggested, leaning down slightly to be more at eye level with her. "Don't worry... I'm clumsy too. But Even hot people have faults, right?"
Reno grinned his typical smug grin. "Indeed you are, little laaaady." he said as he picked her up, beginning his trek down the street. Miraculously, even though he had drunk quite a bit that night, he was able to keep in a pretty straight line. "Now, don't forget to close your eyes!"

She hopped off the stage and wondered over to the bar, she was really thirsty after that preformance.
She sighed, but smiled happily, conifdent in herself.
