they like me! they really LIKE me!
so, i have this photoblog over at the Open Salon community (you can find me at http://open.salon.com/user_blog.php?uid=5171), and i try to post at least one photo per day (sometimes more, sometimes none). i have gotten some good responses from the community over the last few months, which only encourages me to post more.
today, though, i got two surprises - 1) i got recommended for the daily-feed that someone does on their journal to point out posts that might be missed in the shuffle (you can see that post here http://open.salon.com/content.php?cid=105087 - and make sure to check out the other recommendations - some great writing over there), and then a comment that compared the feeling of my images to some of a great modern photographer.
and this on top of an "editor's pick" for my firday post.
i feel like weeping sometimes when i get such a response. tears of happiness that i really am finding a way to say something with my photos.
