The Pointy Case of the Severe Donkey
Case in point would be yesterday’s servitude. In at 3pm; out at 4am. No chance for beer, where there once was. Oh, it should’ve been over by 9pm but there were network issues related to applications. In the mainframe world, you have your own special group of network people outside of the switch/router/circuit set.
They’re odd to deal with and in the case of InfiddleVestCorp, blow severe donkey. Little to no documentation and poor trouble-shooting methodology in which their whole zombie-hive-mind group got on the call left me shocked.
I’m doing fine after some sleep of the dead but, am still off balance today. Tomorrow, I will be “working from home”. This makes screwing off at work, even sweeter.
