I like it spooky but missed out on the Bram Stoker experience in Dublin since it was Fri/Sat/Sun only and that didn’t jive with my schedule. I think the re-enactments with Irish accents would have been hilarious plus I’d be sure to be “fortified” for the experience.

Before the journey started on Saturday, I got a sign that this would be a good day. Hint: it was black.










Visiting the cemetery/ruins of Monasterboice & Mellifont Abbey made up for it. These places would’ve been über-cool to be in at dusk and midnight with a full moon, I’m told they’re open 24-7. Large, sinister looking crows flew in and out of the ruins with an overcast day as the backdrop. This was one of the highlights of the trip for the group and I’m glad we hit this up.

I hope you all get creeped out properly this Halloween.
