Really trumping it was that the Oktoberfest biers are starting to roll in. It’s important to see who's got the best of the season early, so you can plan the next month and a half's beer selection appropriately. Don’t waste your time on bad beer.
Ironically, the best beer of the night was the Live Oak Liberation IPA. This continues to be a dominant selection at Gman, regardless of pedigree. Halfway through, you need a glass of water due to the thickness of this great beer, plus there's bound to be a week's worth of vitamin C for all the citrus overtones.

That's what it said on the door anyways. Jilberto's kitchen sounds like a Benny Hanna show, all for some queso flamiado, complete with the Steak'n'Shake plate. A good follow-up after a few beers but why did you let your liquor license lapse[culeros]? Did I mention that Jilberto's is in an old Long John Silver's? I don’t know why this place is out of business yet but the day is coming…
