I Am BeerDiablo-icus

You're out for a week and things can happen to your cube.
In this case, the delayed delivery of the dual monitor arms that should've come with the
monitor refresh. These arms were too short or the monitors too large -you decide where the problem lay.

I marched down to the staging area and took two single arms, and swapped out the hardware.
Problem solved. Two of my co-workers did the same. I'm told there are other discontented folk.

The Casualty List
Discussing this past Saturday's migration revealed the suffering greater than the emails told.

1. Cable vendor showed up an hour late, two people -one full time, one clueless temp.

2. Co-workers spent hours trying to figure out the cabling for sysplex connectivity.
Breckenbrew [manager] had to come in. When I encountered this, a month ago, it took 15 minutes
of troubleshooting and 15 minutes to correct the cabling. At that time, I told the project lead -ClivesDale, that an audit
should be done. Once again, no one wants to listen to me. Ignore the advice and you get fucked.

3. The wrong cables being unplugged? That was the cable vendor acting on their own.

Lots of bad being corrected this week.
