Failure to Curry Favor
Love new restaurants -especially Indian as the quality is spotty in DFW.
The local rag -Dallas Observer, recently put out it's yearly “Best of” and it usually provides a new spot or two.
Today, I chose to hit it's pick for best Indian food as I've been craving increased spice and heat.
No Spice For You!!!
Pulled up and a sign on the door said, “Closed while in transition for new management”
Really? 1-2 weeks after such an award? Tis the way of things...
Fuck it. Today was “National Taco Day”, so I hit up Taquería Arandas around the corner.
This equaled success* at some level in the scheme of things.
*if I can't decide between Tex-Mex and BBQ, Indian food arbitrates.
