08122012 Day 7 of Captivity
After a busy day and some work into the evening at the data center -no calls,
though the DR exercise kicked off early at 0709. Busy morning then into the data center in the afternoon to fix
what the night crew didn't. Less than 15 hours to go...
Management is also figuring out that my group needs 7x24 staff or maybe just more people.
Let's see how that goes. No vision/leadership thus far, why start now?
I don't think my sinus issues are allergies but an infection. Taking tomorrow off as sick, getting a doctor appointment.
Also taking off Thurs & Fri as comp days for the work these past two weeks. It won't make up for the time put in
but I'll figure out how to slack off and steal office supplies to balance things as close as I can.
Now to bide my time until the machines call me to say they’re broken.
