Moving slow today -as planned for the trip into downtown Raleigh for lunch at The Pit.
Slightly above average 'que but the thing that made the trip worthwhile is that the place is craft beer friendly.
Sexual Chocolate Impy Stout -a limbo of either on tap last week or will be tapped next week plagued me but Pit had it on tap
-and I put a pint of it in my belly. Nice but too much hop bitterness got in the way of the sweetness however,
the beer paired well with the food.
Death of Beer Smuggling
It's now clear that checked baggage is more expensive than shipping -even if your employer is picking up the charge.
Plus it's a pain to deal with; worthwhile if you're coming back from Belgium.
Need to figure out a way to bring or procure packing materials for future flights. Hmm...one checked bag would do the trick
-and I could still bring back beer in it.
