Any opportunity for hijinx will be seized, especially with a day off -tactically taken. Scotcharina bowed out due to month end
closing but HermanoDiablo rode shotgun. He'd never been and looks to do so again.
Gonzales restaurant serves up good Tex-Mex with sublime homemade flour tortillas. I held back on finishing the plate in
order to leave room for more cerveza. Two meals in one, indeed.
I stopped in a Mexican bakery [panaderia] and picked up wedding cookies [galletas de matrimonio] which are small
sugar cookies featuring a nice dose of cinnamon. Awesome stuff to share with Scotcharina at the game tomorrow night.
Santo and the Blue Demon Vs. Dracula and the Wolf Man
A Mexican horror flick with masked wrestlers as protagonists? Makes sense to me.
Texas Theatre does it up right and continues to provide an outlet for my tastes -it's the rest of you that are weird.
Certain staff and attendees wore wrestling masks [mine's the white base] and it really heightens the experience -maybe it was the beer.
