Let’s Party Like It’s 1759

Jan 29, 2009 23:06

Time once again to gather at Trinity Hall for some pints and curry. I was late to the game due to this thing called “work” [then the gym] but only about thirty minutes and what? Ten people already there. Things are thawing.

Excellent. Time to dig into some pints and catch up on what some these people have been doing for the past few months. Surely they must have been breaking multiple commandments, otherwise…boring and very sad. I prognosticate that February will drive the group to new lows…

Official Party Business
Feb.13th Great Guinness Toast at Trinity Hall. Holding to tradition, my entry will be blue.

Feb.26th 1759 Society 3rd Anniversary and Pint Appreciation Night. $3.50 Guinness, Smithwicks and Harp. Those wise will take the next day off.

Damn. February is a bad month to quit drinking. Guess I better move it to March.
Wait…that’s my birthday. Guess I better move it to April. Wait….
