The Gas Station
I went to the gas station that I go to every couple a weeks down the road, where I absolutely have to go if I can't make it over the hill to the cheaper gas. The 40 year old persian guy that works there treats me like a regular though, so I went in to pay and he got all happy and did the whole fist high five thing. He asked what's up and I told him I was moving back to Hollywood in a couple months and the smile totally got wiped from his face.
I went out to pump the gas and he came out to talk to me even though the place was busy. It was weird. I didn't know what to say. So I said it was my birthday, and he seemed concerned. He said he would have to get a station in Hollywood to work at. OK!!!!! If you he's gonna be all like that, why dont he give me a discount on the fuckin gas. Anyway....
