Happy Birthday, Playstation 2
Today is the tenth birthday of the Playstation 2.
I was one of the lucky few who got a launch unit, thanks to my sister who worked at Sears. (Do you remember the shortages?) Very recently, it finally died and quit working altogether. It is the only piece of consumer electronics I've felt a sentimental attachment to. My fondness for the fantastic universes it transported me to are rubbed off onto the device itself.
