My uncle died Friday. My aunt found his dead cold body in the morning. She tried to give him CPR but he was long gone. Massive heart attack. He was only 42. He had two kids. His girl just started her first year at college. His boy is only in middle school. He was my mother's baby brother. Her favorite brother. She had three. She's devastated. Everyone is devastated. The funeral is tomorrow. I hate funerals. There's an original statement. "I hate funerals". I bet no one has ever said that before. Most people love funerals. It's a fact. Genius.

Today is our first wedding anniversary. We were going to celebrate on Saturday. Scuzzy was going to surprise me. We were going to dress up. That didn't happen. But we're going to do it all next Saturday.
I bought the Forrest Gump DVD. I am a sucker for inspirational movies about mentally challenged individuals that feature outdated special effects and Sally Field. Life is like a box of a variety pack of tampons. You never know what level of absorbency you're gonna get. See? It applies to everyday life.
