The annoying thing about small items like cigarette lighters was that they were ridiculously easy to misplace. Sam had done everything short of turn Phoebe's room upside down while she was in the shower, trying to find said lighter, and finally ended up looking in her nightstand.
He didn't find them in the drawer, but he did find the
yearbook from her senior year -- which he hadn't remembered being in there before.
Not since before she'd woken up a teenager on Monday morning, as a matter of fact.
It was a long shot, but Sam started paging through the yearbook until he found a picture of Phoebe with her two best friends, and the rhyming couplet written beside it. There was something about that rhyme . . . okay, it sounded a lot like some of the spells he'd heard her and her sisters use over the years.
Maybe that was what had started all of this?
Sam hesitated a moment, then tucked the yearbook under his arm and headed down the hallway to Piper's room, where he knocked on the door.
[OOC: OMG shut up I totally know what day it is, really.]
