She looked at Anders and Cole. "Guys... don't you understand? When I go through it, it can get bad enough... but feeling both of you having the sickness and queasiness makes it that much worse on me."

For once, Phoebe had decided not to try to shield them from what she was feeling or going through.

Sam grinned. "We love you too," he said, no compunction at all about speaking for himself and Cole. He leaned down and nuzzled at Phoebe's stomach lightly and added in a soft voice, "And you, too, kiddo."
