you're way too beautiful girl
things are swell. i just keep on truckin'. clinic is going alright, i got a tricky client this semester - mainly because of behavioral issues. ah well. it's a good challenge. i'm keepin' myself busy and the weeks are flying by. i can't believe october is half done. yikes. that means only 2-ish months left. ok it's doable. although next semester is just gonna be nuts. i said that about this semester and i am certainly surviving so we shall see. i am enjoying these beautiful fall days - although i wish it wouldn't rain so much, but that comes with the season. i love the leaves changing colors and what not, so pretty. another one of the first years got engaged this past weekend. ah dear, tis the season i guess. i figured a few people would be getting hitched, but i did not realize how many in such a short time - we're all still too young 'eh? i guess not so much anymore. poor jorge, he's in such a different mentality lol it's definitely two different worlds - the grad school world and the undergrad world. i already forget what it's like to be an undergrad. i can't even fathom skipping a class, or cramming the night before. i mean, i do still cram - to an extent, but i actually try to start studying likea week before, and get my papers done well ahead of time and what not. this week should not be too bad - just a test on friday. it looks like i'll be able to get my 10 hours of my assistantship in this week, which is good. the past few weeks i've only been getting like 1 or 2 hours max, and i should be working 10 a week. yikes? luckily i still get paid eitehr way. man, assistantships are the best - i tell ya. i hope i get one next year too. it's great experience, good connections and the money is pretty damn good. and they are flexible b/c they understand school comes first yadda yadda - whcih is good because my schedule is nuts with random meetings, and clinic and group projects up the wazoo. ah well. time for bed. at least monday is over.
