Well the big 3 0 is next sunday. Not really sure how I'll react to turning 30. But oh well. Only happens once. Atleast I can say I don't look 30. And I'd have to say I've done a lot in the past 30 years. Let's take a look back at my first 30 years.....
1974- Born, right before I turned 1, I threw myself out of the crib and broke my leg.
1975- nothing major happened
1976- nothing major.
1977- Cut the top of my head on the organ bench..got 2 stiches.
1978- nothing major
1979- My last year in New Jersey...nothing really happened.
1980- Moved to Marietta, GA outside Atlanta. Started Kindergarden. Had my first kiss the night of my 6th birthday by Tara. Can't recall her last name.
1981- Got chicken pox that summer.
1982- Got bit on the butt by my neighbors dog.
1983- Moved to Enterprise, AL Started 3rd grade.
1984- My brother graduated from the Coast Guard Academy. Got glasses this year..that sucked.
1985- 4th grade. Parachute Pants were in style then..and I listened to Michael Jackson.
1986- 5th grade. "Discipline will make me a better person." That was the sentence I wrote nearly 10,000 times I bet in Mrs. Dubose's class. Jeremy Johnson and I became best friends that year. I also became an Uncle.
1987- 6th grade My last year of Elementary school. I miss that school. My 6th grade year we ran that place. LOL
1988- 7th grade..wow. What a crazy year. Got my first "licks" from the principal. Jeremy and I had fun in Math class. I took band..played the trombone. Quit band after that year. Thought it would be cool to do..since my sister did it. should have taken shop class instead.
1989- 8th grade. New school..more fun. Got an afternoon paper route. Bought a Nintendo. (NES)
1990-9th grade..got my permit. had a motorcycle. Lots of fun. My last year of having a paper route. Made about a hundred bucks a month.
1991- High School years. Got contacts. Life was getting better.
1992- Got a job at Captain D's. got my license. no car yet.
1993- Senior year. Lots of fun. Started working at Wal-Mart.
1994- Started college at Enterprise State Junior College. Finally lost my virginity. Dated Jessica Schindler..she was 2 months pregnant when we met. Dated a year or so.
1995- Turned 21. Still at Wal-Mart. Met Mark Taylor..we worked at wal-mart together..hung out all the time.
1996- Still at Wal-mart. Nothing major happened.
1997- Moved to Auburn. Had a great time. Moved back to Enterprise..took an assitant manager job with Captain D's. 3 months later I had my own store.
1998-2002 Spent the next 4 years managing 3 diffrent captain d's. Dated the perfect woman...broke up with her. Dated another perfect woman..broke up with her...do we see a pattern here? Yeah..I'm a dumbass. May 28th, 2002 Joined the Coast Guard.
2003- Got stationed in Mobile. Still not married.
2004- Turning 30. I think it's time to settle down. Just need to find Mrs. Right first though. Anyone know her number?
I'm sure I left out a whole heck of a lot of stuff. But I have to get ready for work.
So if anyone wants more info on a certain year..just leave me a comment and I'll be happy to expand on it.
